Having abundant wealth is everyone's dream, but in this day and age, obtaining it legally and lawfully requires maximum effort , and not everyone is capable of doing so. However, many people seek easier and more instant shortcuts to gain wealth, including  taking advantage of others' rights, such as by cheating and stealing, as well as corruption, which is commonly committed by public officials. Corruption is an act of abuse of authority for personal or group gain that can harmstatefinances . The culture of corruption in our country has been going on for a long time, and tends to be carried out continuously from one official to the next, as if it were a never-ending series of cases . This condition does not only occur in our country, butalso in other countries, both developing and developed. 

Corruption and its behavior essentially arise from people with limited family backgrounds and many shortcomings. Therefore, when they obtain a position that has the potential to bring profit, they will exploit it to obtain material things according to the opportunity they have. Corrupt habits and behavior tend to repeat themselves when they move to another position, whether equal or higher, so that the repeated habit will form a character that is difficult to stop. Corrupt acts are a manifestation of fear and trauma from a past full of limitations, so that as long as there is an opportunity and chance, they will use it to do things that benefit themselves.

Large salaries and incentives do not guarantee a reduction or elimination of the desire for corruption, when the salary and incentives received are not commensurate with the money from the corruption he committed , this condition is common considering that the civil service system in our country  still adheres to a service system, so that with his status as a civil servant, the salary received will not make him rich, but it is enough to meet the needs of the family. On the other hand, for those who have a luxurious character will still be tempted to commit corruption in order to achieve a better and prosperous life. The more people interested in the policy, the greater the opportunity and chance to be used as a field of corruption, such as the field of public services related to licensing, taxation, and the legal field, which encourages many people to seek easy and light ways, with the consequence of giving  rewards to officialswho make related policies. Corruption arises because the soul always demands wages and incentives for every job he does for others, where by helping people who are interested, of course it is appropriate for the person who receives help to provide a reward according to the nominal amount that  has been determined, where this falls into the realm of gratification and corruption .

The desire for corruption is only an uncontrolled lust for wealth and riches, and know that the money from corruption will not bring   benefits to oneself and one's family, and will not provide peace and tranquility of mind , but will cause anxiety throughout life, in addition, the wealth from corruption will encourage its owner to always do deviant acts and be filled with anxiety, and tend not to be blessed. Let us begin to instill honest and trustworthy qualities, because it will lead to goodness and peace, as well as a true life for oneself and one's family , avoid the desire to commit corruption because the consequences of such actionswill be detrimental to the state and society, in addition, if such actions are known by the authorities, it will have an impact on legal charges, and loss of trust, and destroy the career and good name of the family thatwill not be erasedforever.
