                                                      RICH IN WEALTH, POOR IN HEART

       Wealth is one of the necessities of life that can provide a sense of calm, happiness, and pride, therefore in every opportunity we have, we will always   try to get it in various ways, even though it is a difficult and risky path in order to meet the needs of family life . With the existing wealth, we can meet the needs of daily life, as well as get pleasure. by buying and getting whatever is needed to fulfill everything we want . Therefore, in every opportunity we have, every human being will try to use their time to find and get wealth in unlimited amounts, as if they will live forever , and most of them assume that with abundant wealth, it will bring  pleasure, comfort or even peace .

        As is currently happening, many people are trying to obtain material wealth through various means, such as taking over the rights of others, manipulating data, cheating, stealing, and corruption, all aimed at obtaining abundant wealth. One thing that is unreasonable is their efforts to   store wealth in the form of money, no longer stored in banks, but they keep it in private safes at home, or for those who have excess savings, they will create a place like a chest or secret bunker that can hold   large amounts of money, without being known to others or detected by the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center  (PPATK). However, if you think logically and with common sense, with such a large amount of money, it will certainly not run out if enjoyed by themselves and their families until the end of life, even for seven generations. That is the excessive lust and desire of humans where they are always dissatisfied with the wealth they have.

       It has become a human character and habit today, that with the wealth they have, sometimes there is a heavy feeling to share with others, and their hearts always feel lacking even though they already have abundant wealth , and that is one of the characteristics of poor-hearted people, who feel it is difficult to give and always hope  to receive gifts from others even though the material they have is more than the person who gives . Poor-hearted people will always feel less with what they have obtained, and are not grateful for the material and wealth they have, so that while there is still time and opportunity they will continue to try to search by working hard to get the material according to what they want. However, based on experience, in general they do not have time to enjoy the wealth that has been sought for years, and cannot feel a peaceful life, there is only a feeling of anxiety that never stops, because they are afraid that their wealth will decrease or disappear, so that their life is spent just to keep the wealth that actually does not bring benefits to their life.

       Know that wealth will not bring peace, because with abundant wealth and investment assets   everywhere, it certainly gives rise to many   thoughts and worries about the reduction or loss of investment assets that we have ,  especially with the current unstable and uncertain economic conditions of the country, thus making the heart restless, the mind tense and tired which ultimately disrupts physical and mental health. The feeling of happiness and peace  truly only exists in the heart, and for that there is no need to have a lot of abundant wealth but only enough to meet the needs of life for yourself and your family, and to be able to share with others as a provision for good deeds. With sufficient wealth and obtained in the right way, the heart will be calm without burden. The more sharing and helping with others, the happier the heart will be even though we do not have a lot of wealth, because basically the feeling of wealth only exists in the heart , where it can be felt when we can feel the suffering and shortcomings of others, so that our hearts are moved to give some of our wealth for the happiness of others, and that is one of the characteristics of a truly rich person .

       Let us live with sufficient wealth but obtained in a halal way, because that will make life blessed , besides that,  give a lot of charity with the wealth we have because that will make our wealth cleaner, and seek peace by worshiping a lot because that will make us people who no longer make wealth the goal of life, but will always make Allah as the goal, and whoever makes Allah as the goal, the world will serve him.
