       In social activities with others, sometimes many face various problems , so it is not uncommon for a friendship to turn into hostility when there is a small problem that arises between them, the problem can be in the form of slander thrown by one party to another, because it is caused by several things such as the emergence of envy and unwillingness when one of them has a higher position because of luck, or success that cannot be achieved by others. Slander is a behavior that arises due to emotional impulses that arise from someone because there is a feeling of hatred for others , besides that it can also be because of wanting to get personal gain but is done by bringing down a friend or competitor who has the potential to hinder the intentions and goals that he will achieve.

       Slanderous acts can occur in various circles, including in the world of politics, especially when approaching regional head elections or legislative members , this happens when a political party cadre dares to utter slanderous words that can bring down his political opponent, in order to gain an advantage in the form of a good name among prospective voters, so that by increasing the image and good name in the eyes of the public, it will indirectly provide an opportunity in the form of an advantage in getting the most votes, and has the potential to win in the election process that will be held.

       It is important to note that slander is a serious offense that must be avoided, as it can foster enmity between the slanderer and the slandered , or even result in legal action  against the perpetrators. As isoftenin today's society,  social media has become a convenient platform for expressing various opinions and criticisms, potentially leading to the spread of false news or hoaxes by certain parties, which can damage a person's reputation due to the slander they perpetrate.

       In all activities involving relationships and interactions between people, we should  prioritize honesty and sincerity without arousing suspicion and slandering others . Bearing in mind that uttering   slanderous words without   clear evidence of wrongdoing will result in the decline of others' self-esteem and honor, thus making it difficult to restore the good name that has been built for so long. Therefore, let us carry out the democratic process wisely and judiciously, by prioritizing high sportsmanship, and based on honesty and sincerity, so that all the benefits and victories achieved will feel safe, calm, and honorable.
